Digital Science Libraries to be opened - DOST

Maasin City - Fourteen (14) lucky public schools in Southern Leyte will receive DOST's first science digital libraries, which aims to help young Southern Leyteño students research about Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Provincial Director Florita M. Santiago said. According to Santiago, a turnover ceremony and training orientation of DOST STARBOOKS (Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosks) will be held this November 28 (Thursday) at the Maasin Country Lodge, Mambajao, Maasin City.  The STARBOOKS is the first science digital library in the Philippines.
