DOST to open S&T week in Kalinga Posted: Thursday, October 05, 2017 BICUTAN, Metro Manila The regional science and technology week of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) moves to higher ground on October 10-14, 2017 with opening ceremonies slated at the PLGU-Kalinga Astrodome in Tabuk, Kalinga.
The regional S&T week (RSTW) celebration is a follow through activity of the National Science and Technology Week held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City last July 2017. The regional event features an array of S&T initiatives, inventions, innovations, and programs developed in the region and in the country. This activity supports the current administration's thrust "Science for the People" which aims to bring local technologies and S&T interventions in the regions and provinces.

Search for homegrown scientists on Posted: Friday, September 15, 2017 TABUK CITY, Kalinga, Sept. 12 (PIA) -- The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) central office personnel with the national and outstanding young scientists are in town in search for homegrown scientists in any field of science and technology.
They are also here to roll out the services of the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) and to encourage local trailblazers in science research and development.
