DOST to open S&T week in Kalinga

BICUTAN, Metro Manila – The regional science and technology week of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) moves to higher ground on October 10-14, 2017 with opening ceremonies slated at the PLGU-Kalinga Astrodome in Tabuk, Kalinga. The regional S&T week (RSTW) celebration is a follow through activity of the National Science and Technology Week held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City last July 2017. The regional event features an array of S&T initiatives, inventions, innovations, and programs developed in the region and in the country. This activity supports the current administration's thrust "Science for the People" which aims to bring local technologies and S&T interventions in the regions and provinces.
