The Highland Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (HAARRDEC) conducted a series of techno-forums which highlighted selected agricultural commodities.
These commodities were featured during the celebration of the Farms and Industry Encounters through the Science and Technology Agenda (FIESTA).
FIESTA, a technology diffusion strategy, is conceptualized by the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD).

DOST Cordillera launches SAFE program to aid in climate-change adaptation Posted: Monday, December 04, 2017 TABUK, KalingaIn an effort to address the negative impact of climate change and implement science-based solutions to minimize its effects and ensure the viability of agricultural programs, the Department of Science and Technology-Cordillera Administrative Region (DOST-CAR) launched the S&T Action Frontline for Emergencies and Hazards (SAFE) Program.
The launch coincided with the celebration of the regional science and technology week of DOST-CAR on October 9 at the Kalinga State University-Main Campus in Tabuk, Kalinga.
