BHC Educational Instution studes to avail free and advanced science laboratory trainings

In support to the successful implementation of K to 12 program of the Department of Education (DepEd), the BHC Educational Institution of San Fernando City, La Union and the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office 1 (DOST-RO1) recently tied an agreement for a work immersion of five (5) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) students in the Regional Standards and Testing Laboratories (RSTL). The work immersion, which will start on January 8, 2018 aimed to promote and enhance science and mathematics education, and empower future S&T workers in the country. It also helps to prepare graduating Senior High School STEM students for employment, entrepreneurship, and higher learning. Region 1 inventors qualified to compete for NICE

After the success of the Region 1 Invention Contest and Exhibit (RICE) held at Robinsons Place in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte last week, the winners of each category were urged to enhance their inventions in preparation for the National Invention Contest and Exhibit (NICE) next year. Out of the six entries under the utility model category, the Mathematical Game Device of Mr. Bobby F. Cabe from San Fabian, Pangasinan garnered first place (1st) followed by Prof. Imma Concepcion G.
