BHC Educational Instution studes to avail free and advanced science laboratory trainings

In support to the successful implementation of K to 12 program of the Department of Education (DepEd), the BHC Educational Institution of San Fernando City, La Union and the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office 1 (DOST-RO1) recently tied an agreement for a work immersion of five (5) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) students in the Regional Standards and Testing Laboratories (RSTL).

The work immersion, which will start on January 8, 2018 aimed to promote and enhance science and mathematics education, and empower future S&T workers in the country. It also helps to prepare graduating Senior High School STEM students for employment, entrepreneurship, and higher learning.

The agreement quoted that the students will undergo free 80 hours trainings on science laboratory work such as Food Microbiological Testing, Water Microbiological Testing, Food Nutritional Analysis, Nutrition Facts Computation, calibration, and more.
